Straumur

A new way to process payments

About the project

Straumur is a new subsidiary of Kvika Bank, that focuses on solutions in payment processing for the Icelandic market.

In the age of technology where everything moves fast, it's important to deliver complicated things in a clear and simple way.

Goal

Straumur focuses on providing a powerful flow between individuals, companies and capital on the Icelandic market. It was our role to make the complicated world of finances easily digestible for potential customers.

Design

The look of Straumur (which translates to stream, but can also mean electronic current) is inspired by the flow of capital in society, the forming of connections and pillars of support. The logo consists of rings and lines that refer to mint in its simplest form and the cashflow between individuals and companies.

Conclusion

The modern look that was created refers to the main pillars of Straumur; flow, movement and simple solutions.
